Have you ever read the quote that says “Instead of saying: Lord, I don’t know how I’m going to do this, say, Lord, I can’t wait to see how you do this!” A few years ago, my co-worker gave me that quote and I taped it on my desk so I could see it every day that I clocked in. Present day, I still have that same quote and it’s taped on my vision board. As I wrote on the last few pages of my prayer journal last night, it really made me think about those words with an emphasis on the last part… “Lord, I can’t wait to see how you do this!”
My friend once said “There’s No Limit When God Is In It” and that is so powerful and true! You know when “God is in it” when you have humbled yourself and prayed over your vision, when you have patiently asked God to lead you and guide you every step of the way, when you boldly give God the praise, honor and glory and when you walk by Faith and tirelessly put in the work, that’s how you can know for sure that God is in it!
When you've done all that you can do … you must stand on His word that says “Be still and know that I am God…” (Psalm 46:10) Be still and know that “God Got You”, but not with a shaky, timid “God has me…” but with a bold, demanding and authoritative voice saying “GOD GOT ME” and after you say it have such a boldness with it that you “dare” someone to say otherwise! See, that’s the kind of boldness we have to have when we know that God “…is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” (Ephesians 3:20) That’s the kind of boldness we have to have when we know that “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man, The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)
See, Jesus always and I do mean always spoke with boldness and assertiveness because nobody could deter what He knew God could do according to His word and we have to be the same exact way over our dreams, visions, and purpose. Be unshakeable and unmovable because you trust in His word! “Showing boldness with it” is speaking the Word of God over your circumstances, standing on the Word of God through tests and trials and relying solely on The Word of God for confirmation and assurance. When you have that kind of boldness because you trust and believe in the Word, then you must know… “that thang got to come forth!”
Yesterday, I was feeling so defeated. I mean I wish I could have balled up in a corner and cried like a little baby. I was telling myself that “I honestly don’t know what else to do. I am doing everything that I have learned and I feel so stuck. I thought that as long as I completed what I was working on with excellence, then the reward would automatically come.” I cried, prayed and wrote in my prayer journal, then I cried, prayed and wrote in my prayer journal so more... It wasn’t until later that night that I realized that I was holding on to the “natural” way to success rather than the “spiritual” way to success and I knew I had to turn to the preeminent Word of God!
As I wiped my tears, I realized that God was trying to get me to see that the “spiritual” way to success is remembering that it’s not about Me, it’s about God getting the recognition and glory in and through my works! The Word says “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10) See, when you humble yourself your work will speak for itself saying... “God is in it!”
God wants us to see it this way...Imagine holding on to a long rope... you’re on one end and God is on the other. So, on your end you think because you did your due diligence, read books, watched videos and took classes you just know for sure that success should be this way, so you tug the rope to get God to “come onnn over here”… but God is on the other side of the rope proudly watching you read books, watching you work hard learning from videos, watching you take classes and soak up much needed knowledge… but then He wants you to “LET GO”…Letting go of your end of the rope is saying “Here You Go God, Have Your Way!”
I did the work like you told me to; now “Here You Go!”
I wrote the book and got it published; now “Here You Go!”
I took the test and passed it; now “Here You Go!”
I designed the product and marketed it; now “Here You Go!”
I interviewed for the job and was offered the position; now “Here You Go!”
I started the business and have customers; now “Here You Go!”
“Let Go” and say “Lord, I can’t wait to see how you do this!” That’s that boldness you need, that bold faith!
See, Life is hard and we always seem to know what we are doing wrong for things not to flow and prosper in our favor, but it’s when we are doing what’s right that we don’t understand what’s really going on. That’s when we have to go right back to His word, because “God’s Word Holds Weight!” His word says “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9)
Don't be ashamed or afraid to have the boldness to talk about your faith on your job, the boldness to talk about your faith in your business or the boldness to talk about your faith on social media...See, when “God is in it”, it has no choice but to thrive! When God is in it, “that thang has no choice but to prosper.” It has... no choice... but to manifest! So don’t give up! Don’t you throw in that towel; you keep pushing and keep grinding. You may not be able to see the fruits of your labor just yet but know that you are making a powerful impact on people lives to bring them to Christ! You are bringing them to Christ with your positivity, with your smile and with your gestures of love. That’s Jesus Christ exuding through you! So, even though you don’t know for sure if you are inspiring, encouraging, helping or being a blessing... Believe that you are because “God is in it” so show your boldness with it and keep going!
This message is really ministering to my own spirit deep down inside of me and I know someone “just like me” needs to know that their private discipline of worshiping and praising God for the unseen and unknown is not in vain. Someone "just like me" needs to know that your private time of reading your bible, praying on your face, writing in your prayer journal and feeding your spirit is not in vain but it is setting the foundation you need for the next dimension that God is about to suddenly take you into!
God is not finished! So, Keep working, Keep going and Keep doing your thing with His Power pushing you forward! Know that because you’ve been on Fire for God, because every single thing you do or say is in some way, shape or form leading people to God and leading people to Jesus Christ. Know that the blessing is already in motion for you and the expected delivery date super naturally is about to manifest in your life…. Right…. About… NOW!
